I think VCT events are ok, just need more big 3rd party events like ESL/Blast ,etc to fill the gap. Riot showed that they open with 3rd parties in 2022
Imagine the community outrage if Sentinels / 100 Thieves don't qualify for the league because they lost 1 Bo3 in open bracket
Riot NA is so dumb they literally delay the whole qualifying process till the last few days
It's already confirmed there will be 4 days to choose 12 best teams xD
I guess no closed double elim, literally just fucking open qualifier with 12 different paths, oh you got seeded with Cloud9 or Sentinels? We don't care.
just don't suck and lose to no name teams, how hard could it be for a so called "Tier 1" team
Akrew have bad ranking but are very good
Now imagine Akrew is seeded with Sentinels
Both are top-8 NA and must be in league
But only 1 can go
...
Is that called a good format?
They're like Leagues type or than VCT events. In EU there are several Regional Leagues (Spanish/French/etc)
