the way I viewed it was, alot of vct teams are getting actual slot site sponsors and they are fully scams not registered, I would prefer to work with polymarket which is actually fair and kinda fun to bet small amounts on ur fav teams if u really wanted to. I think it is questionable but after thinking I thought it was fine and safe to promote especially just qrt on stat posts its not like im showing picks etc or have a code. but at the end of the day, people like the guy who commented are probably in good faith defending their own beliefs so I cannot be mad

not only does the actual act of wintrading / boosting effect that lobby, it also effects hundreds of others lobbies that account gets into before it is banned ruining basically 50%+ of all high elo lobbies, you have probably seen a surge of streamers and players complaining, these accounts get to this elo through this server and other servers, it ends up impacting far more than people realize. Also for the guy that hates gambling, I personally do not believe a prediction market is gambling it is skill based, although I still think it is reasonable to question the ethics of any gambling adjacent promotion.

Just looked into it, they are not regulated in the US as far as i know which once again means that if you are a US resident & use the site to bet and make $1,000 they could steal your money for fun and theres not a single thing you can do about it since they are not regulated or licensed here

with gamba sponsors coming, I was looking into some sites and most of them do not allow US based users (example: Thunderpick) so who even offers valorant betting for US residents legally. The "offshore" companies are not regulated by US gaming commissions and you have no protection so theres no way riot is letting that sponsor a team. if anyone know who these betting sponsors potentially are lmk
