you think 80% of VCT pros smoke??? genuinely why??? the global % is like 20% among people between the ages of 18-25 why the fuck would it specifically be 4x as likely for someone to smoke if their a signed VCT player, that doesnt make sense lmao
because they are athletes and maximize performance, and stimulants like nicotine help. next youll be surprised when i say pros do adderall too. anyways i am not even guessing its literally well known within val comm. go to the coex studio in korea and walk outuside during half time and look for yourself
if a pro wanted to use nicotine as a stimulant to help with performance why the fuck would they ingest that nicotine through a cigarette and not just through nicotine patches, even outside of esports NO sport has had even CLOSE to an 80% nicotine usage reported, iirc the highest was NFL at something like 1 in 3, premier league at about 20% again, additionally using specifically the studio in korea as an example is insane cause like, korea has a very unique specific relationship with cigarettes that most other countries participating in VCT do not have, so even if the 80% figure WAS true for korean players, that doesnt mean it would hold true for the rest of VCT
