They should let academy teams ascend

Or if an ascended team gets relegated completely. Academy teams can fight for the org again

Seems like Riot doesn't want any selling of spots, whether that's Tier 1 or Tier 2

Someone like SEN could just offer the best money every year, pick up the best T2 players and then sell them to an org for a shitton of money and then just repeat that process every year

Yeah like in theory that works but you're inadvertently discouraging t2 orgs to field actual rosters, since academy teams will then have the resources of a big org and just leave to chance for you to ascend, or you just wait until a team like cubert or lev ac win ascension and just buy them out and completely negate the risk
