Just a thought. Having two teams going through point rather than one is kinda crazy. Looking at China, it's a perfect example of points working perfectly (unintendedly) that matches up with the region's strongest teams with the top 4 slots. But looking at America and EMEA, they are sending teams that couldn't even make it to top 4. Pacific is near there, almost perfect, but ruined by talon from making the top 4. Unless they win, of course.

no LCQ winners made champs playoffs + teams being inconsistent all year then making some miracle run just doesnt mean they deserve it (why I didnt like KRU's run in 2023 despite it being a good storyline)
champ points rewards consistency no matter what, other VLR'ians making the argument that MIBR doesnt deserve it because they didnt make playoffs proves my point even more because the fact that they did so good for 2/3rds of the year to the point where they didnt need to perform good in stage 2 just shows how more consistent they were

They were never even contenders for top 2 in americas, only beat kru in playoffs because they seeded 1st in a group full of shit and made it to toronto. Americas just happens to be so fucking horrible before this playoffs specifically that they farmed all the shit and barely scraped in.
Then other teams should've took advantage of americas being ass, but MIBR were somehow still better than them :(

ok but fr, I think FNC are simply bad because they've played nonstop with no breaks so teams have so much anti on them. TH are just inconsistent and have major confidence issues.
Edit: I think Champs should reward teams that have done well throughout the year and teams like FNC 100% deserve it, MIBR and TH less so
what so u compare mibr with th? i mean th are chokers but they still went 5-0 in stage 2, won ewc, placed 2nd stage 1 and 3rd in kickoff. ofc they had horrible losses but if u look at point standings its way closer between the top 3 teams in emea than in americas

hm i mean im happy for aspas but i think mibr will be one of the worst teams at champs for sure. they couldnt even win once against sen or g2 and rn they are even worse. th atleast has a high ceiling if they get back in form until champs.
