"Mentality" skill issue

If a player has been playing Pro VCT for 4 years, can they still even be excused for Mentality skill issues . Aim issue can be excused, but it does seem like a bad excuse to blame it as a mental problem

Players could develop psychological problems/struggles over time though. You never know what could also be going on in their personal lives that is hurting their performance and focus
