Champs Qual format fix (Extremely Viable)

Grand finalists from stage 2 automatically qualify from each region
1 team qualifies through champs points accumulated throughout the season from each region
1 extra slot are given to the regions which win the masters trophies (2 slots in total here)
For the rest 2 slots, they will also be based on champs points but the catch is that whichever top 2 regions are the most competitive will get them. There can be different ways to measure competitiveness, but my suggestion is to look at how close the groups are in each region. Like suppose if a region has groups in which bottom 3-4 teams in their groups have the same amount of W/L, that region should be deemed more competitive rather than a region in which groups are almost complete blowouts like americas rn

I think this will be a better format to make champs more competitive

the final 2 slots should be decided by a combination of the LOCK//IN and LCQ formats

way more objective + more international games for viewers

for logistics, it can be hosted in countries that don't require that much work to get a visa (aka third world countries in this case)

ok so theres a world where G2 don't choke vs T1 and we have 5 Americass teams in champs, you want THAT??? this suggestion works for this year since pacific happened to win both masters and they might be able to field 6 competitive teams at champs but literally for most other regions having 5 competitive teams would be a challenge (I think EMEA is the only other region that can). This is to say the top of a region doesn't define how good the rest of the region is Americas are a 2 team region atm.

Also under these rules it just punishes teams for being good most of the year - take FNC who are 1 game away from being eliminated, a part of the reason they are struggling is because of the anti-stratting of a teams against their ascent, they could still be the best team itw at ascent if not for their earlier success.
