agree with the sentiment, but funny bc yay 2022 really was that guy who carried for an entire year straight almost never going negative

Edit since everyone is commenting: I never said the rest of Optic was bad - and they did absolutely set him up for success with their game plans and initiator utility, but at the end of the day he still needs to click heads. Even on other teams with good teammates who set up their duelists, the duelists can still have bad games here and there. Yay is an anomaly because he performed consistently for a year straight - he top fragged many series and pretty much went positive almost every series. Alfa, derke, tenz and many other top duelists cannot even boast that. I'm not even a yay fan (he was literally my least favourite player on optic lol) but people really do forget how good he was in 2022 before falling off.
