try running a graphics card stress test
that should tell you if your gpu is the problem or not
compare the results with results from other people's benchmarks

bruh
go to control panel
power options
change advanced power options
click pci express drop down
turn maximum power savings to off
IF THIS DOESNT FIX IT THEN JUST UNINSTALL YOUR GRAPHICS DRIVERS AND RE INSTALL THEM

Someone on Reddit said this instead:

"This seems to be unrelated to drivers according to all the info I've seen. For anyone else having the same problem. Go into Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Power management mode and set it to Prefer maximum power. Also download and use TDR Manipulator to set your TDR Delay to 10. Will update again if there is issues but so far I have not had it happen again."

I haven't had this issue myself but this does talk about power management similar to your suggestion

its just faulty drivers and faulty communication between the card and graphics drivers from what i understand
can be a graphics card bios issue

Are you on a 13th or 14th gen Intel CPU they have some stability issues
Update your BIOS if so, I got a new laptop with a 14th gen, updated my bios and I haven't crashed once

bios crashing games is not common
although it might be good to check
