CrossFire had a Mobile version since 2015, Global servers gone offline in 2018 but Tencent decide to revive and relaunch it in this year
the same year VALORANT Mobile is coming out (it's clear there is an internal competition between Tencent & Riot)
Then today at their Mobile League Finals, CrossFire announces their roadmap for the 10 year mobile anniversary with plans to add Esports outside China for the first time.
Including
- a dedicated SEA League
- and an Inaugural World Championship

(for those who dont want to click Weibo - https://x.com/subzidite2/status/1954513049697783988)
it's clear CrossFire were clearly bothered and triggered by VALORANT doing a Mobile version, that they're throwing everything to stop them from going big in China
(the same level of energy wasnt seen when VALORANT PC launches in China, for example CrossFire announced that PC league will have something like VCT Ascension in future only to then quietly folded the idea just few days after Riot announces that VCT CN will happen. Eventually VAL PC beats CrossFire in internet cafe rankings)
