Are franchising changes that hard to make?

  1. Bottom 2 teams from champs points get relegated no matter what, there shouldn’t be a reason why Furia, Furia, and Furia to be the league
  2. Top 2 teams from champs points get protected from relegation the next year, that incentives teams to try their best all year, if one of them do fit in the bottom two then the third worst team would get relegated
  3. Rules on Ascension teams get fully waived, obvious explanation
  4. Players who can’t personally play in Riot’s venues, whether the player experiences Visa issues or is under the age of 18, will be able to connect to the venue’s servers using a riot issued account and compete. Minors are required to obey their countries labor laws

The ideal franchise change would be to end it but Riot hates fun

I think it would be better than a team picking a last minute sub and getting shit on

As great as all this sounds, Riot would never risk it from a business standpoint. Esports is a money sink already and if you were Riot would you risk the possibility of SEN, 100T, LOUD being relegated? No bc that means lower tickets sales, less merch sales and just less eyes on general. T2 also isn’t sustainable so if an org gets relegated they might just leave valorant in general like OPTIC or M80 did. Maybe in the future, there could be a true relegation system but rn it’ll never happen

having some players/teams play their matchups online is a detriment to competitive integrity
