It's prob an overreaction but i do think without s1mon KK isn't world class anymore. It felt like they had telepathic senses and now that KK realizes his enemy isn't fullblind/stun/haunt he doesn't win the entries as much and not even the best duelist in CN anymore

bruh he dropped 70+ against 100t. with 22 first kills world record or something in 3 maps
hes still good but he was never insane consistently he dropped the 111 kill game and instanly was a god but he wasnt edg best overall in that tournament either , kinda inconsistent
He was their best player in playoffs in champs. And he was better in every other international event before that too. Chichoo kinda improved a lot since champs. Otherwise it was kk and then smoggy before that.
ik he went off in playoffs but overall in that tournament i would say chicoo is better im just saying that he has not given goat performances as often as people like chronicle alfajer not that hes bad

Kangkang bad day but ut says more about edg than kk. Top 5 teams itw have players who have bad days but other players cover it
back in 2023 kangkang was still a good duelist that stunned everyone in edg's debut games, he is still able to perform as a s tier duelist with some setups (which aren't necessarily s1mon's util)
You do realise KK was incredible way before S1mon even joined the team right? He doesn't need enemies to be stunned/blinded to get kills, literally every event before 2024 is proof of that. The current problems isn't related to a support initiator, it's the whole team not playing well. Typical vlr reaction after one game
