"bottom feeder" teams vs "upcoming t2" teams

what will all the teams that miss champs do for about 9 months??? just have a like separate tournament with a small prize pool, give reps to t2 players and make it easier for t1 teams to get reps and team chemistry. makes the league extremely more competitive, KOI have played 10 games since January, 7 with their old squad and now 3 with the new squad, No shade to KOI but they won't make champs and they'll probably drop someone and the cycle continues lol

they should just be better

Hopefully next year we get some regional evolution tournaments, like there has been in china this year. It's a decent format, it gives teams reps and allows them to play without getting stomped by the 3 best teams of the region. Especially after kickoff it's pretty cool cuz kickoff is very short and there is usually a big gap in level between the best teams and the average ones so it allows us to get introduced to the new teams ect...
