just wanted to share what happened. don’t be too hard on them they’ve already gotten a lot of hate from cnetz <3
(if i made any translation mistakes, feel free to let me knowTT)

  • cnetz lip-read edg nobody speaking to his teammates "你还有信心吗" ("Do you still have confidence?") during tech pause(or time-out cant remember) on heaven.

  • KangKang seemed really frustrated after the match. In his post-game interview, he said every match felt like rolling the dice, mentioning issues like the lack of a proper warm-up area, which forced them to warm up mid-game—and how the disorganized tournament flow affected their performance. When asked about have gained from this event, he just smirked and refused to share, joking that their thoughts were too explosive to share . And honestly, I don’t even know why fans are being so dramatic about the ori post.

  • And "s1mon back" topic has started again, and with cnetz flaming the whole team.

everyone talking about s1mon but don’t realize that muggle is the bigger problem

TRUE the biggest problem is m0ggle has zero new game plans. its honestly so weird that they’ve never tried hiring a foreign analyst to bring in fresh ideas.

now it feels like muggle pulled of an autumn, being carried by the individual brilliance of all his players

honestly tho, muggle has a very weak meta read rn and they are being read left and right by good teams

he could’ve won against G2 in playoffs if he wasn’t overconfident about his teams haven

i’m gonna be honest i wish they wouldn’t take it so hard, they still need to adapt to their new roster & they showed a lot of promise with zjc in the lineup

They’ll qualify for champs no problem, just need some more reps

they just need to find the perfect balance - between having fun and taking it serious

zjc is flexible and has good mechanics, they’ll bounce back quick

爆 is probably shocking/sensational depends on how you want to translate it. The Weibo post got a lot of discourse because it does come off as him chiding the fans for not being as loud as Gen.G fans

Ohhh thank you so much gege! I’ve been trying to understand this word but wasn’t sure what the perfect meaning was. And yea, i know the fans were cheering louder for gen than for edg, but didn’t he already say that it’s just part of esports? What did he say wrong?

when he said "but i wish that our fans can be like them in the future, as I think this is a part of esports", it can be interpreted as the fans who were cheering for them at the ewc venue were not being loud enough which sounds like he wasn't being appreciative. I wouldn't look too much into it since it's prob poor phrasing on his end

Ahh, got it. I honestly think they need to start training their mental to handle the crowd noise better. World in Paris is definitely gonna be way more MASSIVE than this.

EDG fans realizing that doxxing XLG YOU and sending death threats to s1mon isn't the solution

Is that really possible to lip-read a tonal language ?

Also : "he said every match felt like rolling the dice" ALL HAIL THE COIN ! ONLY THE COIN NOW WHO IS GONNA WIN

I mean it’s upon them they let s1mon go and had been struggling since stage 1 up until now but I hope zjc fixes all of their problems this is a new chapter for Edg trying to become the best version of themselves like champs last year

The Haodong/Mindfreak assistant coach supportive role feels more important than ever now to the team's morale and confidence. As for the fan's reaction will always differ on the country they competing in, wouldn't look too much into it but KangKang's showmanship does make positive effect on his performance. The warm up mid game thing is definitely a concern that needed to be fixed, map 1 being "aim practice map" mindset gonna cost EDG, always starting 1 map behind is not ideal.

Yeah they’re starting to feel the absence too, I just think muggle is not good enough to do this on his own without haodongs or afters help

EDG already remove Century (assistant coach) from champs & Bangkok for heav1n/sunshine at EWC. Already seems like an unacceptable result at EWC so far.
