i see people overhyping ewc or downplaying it as a mickey mouse

can we just call it as it is ? it’s not prestigious as a masters but not mickey in any means. it’s a solid mid season event.

ask yourself if you would rather have your team win a masters or ewc and you have your answer as to where ewc places in terms of prestige

i mean it’s not official but imo it’s a tier below masters and a tier above regionals.

fully agree💯
i think after all the threads i have commented on about its placement i think the best way to put it is lock in-regional its MUCH better then a regional win but i would rather have a actual trophy so its regional+ or lock in-ish i would rather it over a bum regional trophy but i want masters more solid mid season event like a trailer for stage 2/champs only changes we need is current patch and a better time placement for it to be solidified as perfect mid season event maybe qualifiers are played on new maps /with new agents but that is asking for too much ngl

Honestly, can we give a shoutout to Shanks? Both he and TH were cursed so Shanks literally negated it. Double negative = positive for a reason.

They really just need to market and do the EWC as the premier off season tournament.
