im watching MSI rn and i dont get the hype with league, but i know its because i have never played before. Is league easy to get into and learn to play? I am not trying to get good or anything just want to learn enough to see what the hype is about

I wouldn't say it is hard to get into, my friend who never played League or any MOBA before could grasp it pretty fast. The issue is the playerbase even in their version of swiftplay and unrated get extremely toxic. It's all about never opening team chat and only having party chat on since the newer players shouldnt have to deal with the harassment of people who played this game for 10+ years but are still in bronze-plat LOL
toxicity does not bother me at all, but i just want to be able to watch it and understand it not play it and get good
Oh then I think you just playing the game even vs AI bots, and playing the champs you will be able to watch it and understand it in no time
1-10 how bad are league players mental. 1 being stardew valley at start of game and 10 being losing 7 straight 1v5s in a full russian cs lobby
its mostly fine
league isn't even particularly toxic anymore
yes occasionally you will get a thrower or a troll but its maybe like 1/20 games
