no official reason but my guess would be that teams just dont have enough time to practice corrode - and im sure most of them wouldnt want to show their corrode strats early anyways since itll be unfair

I think corrode meta still not mater for now cuz it can change later, this schedule is fucked up it given non EWC team advantage because they will scrim with corrode

thats true, and yeah definitely the schedule is horrible, i see why event managers chose to do 12 games today. but still with this cramped of a schedule might as well do it after champs.
not sure what the event managers were doing either way but its whatever, im sure some of these teams will deadass play to lose anyways

Corrode from a design point of view is actually better than a lot of the other maps if u remove the fact its too fucking long.

No reason, they are just dumb, this is all the more reason to say that teams doing good here won't be doing shit in champs , tbh if G2 really want to win champs then they should not give a fuck Abt this tourney as it only kills their time and their old patch map pool isn't good enough and deep run here will just take their time to improve their map pool for new patch and thus it's their choice

july 5th they play with corrode in pool
july 7th they play without corrode in pool
july 20th theyre back to playing corrode

itd be simpler to just play with the same map pool vct teams have already been playing with

I think they when working with riot, they just finalized the patch too early with them like 15-20 June. I cant think any other reason
