What is your criteria based on, because I feel like Yay should be above KangKang
yay had a higher peak (best ever) but kk has been more consistent while also having the same amount of chips
i would put yay close behind kk
Yay quite literally dominated for an entire year, not seeing a drop in consistency or value once during the entire 2022 year. Now his legacy was tarnished by C9, DSG, and Bleed moves but it's not like KangKang was fragging out consistently during that entire time. KK peaked in Tokyo and then during Champs 2024. Made 1 GF total. Yay made 2 GF compared to his 1 and also was Top 3 at Copenhagen just like EDG at Bangkok.
I think both are interchangeable but Yay influenced a meta I would say.
I think KK will cement himself in the top 10 by the time his career is over tho.
I think you’re right but i feel like kk is just a lot more consistent now and yay has yet to prove much of anything after his role swap in EG. i’d like to see more of yay (i.e see him play in an international) before i consider putting him back in the top 10
i dunno it just doesn’t seem right to put kk outside of the top 10 after knowing what his peak is; he should’ve made toronto if it weren’t for the crazy team issues that were going on around him. had he made it to the event, people would still be putting him top 10 i think
how is nats in top 5? and ignoring the place on the list how is he above Sacy?
