they didn't think the roster was ready enough to play, so they refused the invite
it's a small invitational why would that matter to them? I'd say letting them play it gives them more practice for the actual important games in Stage 2. It's not like not winning this invitational affects any of the teams either way
true, not great for mental if scrims have been rough too but you'd think they would manage something like that.
