i've seen a lot of ideas around nerfing omen, but i haven't seen any good suggestions

-buffing other controllers straight up wouldn't make omen less played, it would make double controller more common

-i think his smokes could use a nerf, the fact he has them so quickly and they last so long is a bit crazy but it's not incredibly crazy, they were already nerfed once since his unique one way were taken away but it didn't really do anything so im not sure how any other nerfs could really do anything

-his blind is the only undodgeable and unshootable blind in the game, which is honestly a bit scary but im not sure how it would be changed since nerfing the width or length of it doesn't change the fact that it's undodgeable and unshootable

-his tps are incredibly versatile and arguably the most creative part of his kit, i don't think they're the reason he had an 82% pickrate and nerfing the price or the distance doesn't really seem logical

-his ultimate's only good for either flanking or picking up spike situationally, if you really wanted to take that away from him i suppose you could but you would probably have to reduce his ult to 6 points

i think that overall he isn't incredibly broken in comparison to other controllers, he's just consistently a 7/10 in most situations

Make the buyable smoke rechargable. I think that would be enough to nerf him

they're already a top pick in ranked, I don't think there's a way to make them viable in pro play without making them incredibly broken

that's not even a rework made with pro play in mind, her decay is most likely going to be useless when you're playing against the best of the best

no one hates the character its just unhealthy for 1 agent to have above an 80% pickrate

that said there should be more concern with buffs of the other smokers than nerfs to omen

controllers (highest pickrate @ toronto)
Omen- been a consistent pick for a very long time
Viper- even after constant nerfs she's still highly picked (63%)
Astra- incredible falloff in pickrate (going from viper's 63% to only 9%), only used on pearl
Harbor- obviously needs reworked
Clove- strong in ranked but doesn't work in pro play (kind of like reyna?)
Brim- idek man, literally didn't get picked a single time

Make it so instead of his smoke recharging over time, make it a 2 kill recharge. It makes it so his smoke is still rechargeable, but its not just free like it currently is.

in my opinion, omen is the strongest most viable smoker thanks to his aggressiveness as an agent
many other smokers dont have that kind of kit, probably only clove can match him, but she's just ass as a smoker

so i dont think omen is really a problem for the meta, just that other smokers are very bad atm (even viper for most part)

he isnt overpowered, he is picked a lot because astra doesnt have true rechargable utility (limited to 5 stars that includes some non-smoke util), brim no rechargable, viper wall cant be main controller with the wall except for niche maps, and harbor is just ass. clove has rechargables but the smokes last like 3 seconds shorter than other smokes and she gets 1 every 40 seconds instead of 30

Paranoia
• Added a charge time and windup that effects maximum range and travel time, akin to Breach's Fault Line.

Dark Cover
• Recharge time: 30s --> 35s
• Projectile travel speed --> Reverted to pre-buff
