About your proposition, that would make queue time WAY too long even for the low asked roles (Since if you play smokes you may wait long before having your init and your sentinel), and let's be honest people would tag duel-flex and play duel everytime (Double duelist on every games), Breach and Kayo pickrate would instantely drop to 0 (Since you NEED a reveal in your team). Another problem of your proposition is that it would make a lot of meta comp unplayable since 0 sentinel composition are really popular on some maps. (Split for exemple)
I have some friend that think it could be sane for the game to consider to have a role queue with only 2 roles : 2 duelist, and 3 "Other", and I dont think that's that stupid, people like duelist, and even if proplay would go 2 duelist, it may reduce the amount of utility that people complain about, make the game more dynamic, more fun to watch, and since you can do everything with the 3 other player, the diversity is not that impacted.
My wet dream is the rework of Sentinel to make them more initiator-esque and go full 2-2-2 :
- Sentinel are not popular, and not fun to play against, people complain about the lack of skill of playing Tejo and just rely on util, but it's even more true with every trap sentinels in defense.
- By going 6 player and 3 roles, you reduce queue time (Especially since you have now in every team 2 duelist, and the pool of player to make a team are less divided)
- Since passive vision is dead, you need one people more to cover the lane the passive vision was previously covering
- They are hard to balance, either they are bad ( 2024 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrMksWF43n8 ), or they are too oppressive.
