Dumb Question about Paris Qual. for Americas

Sorry if this is the dumbest question of all time but I'm genuinely too braindead rn, but if G2 actually still try and do good in playoffs/still make it to Top 2 for seeding, two teams can still make it off of points if that does happen right? (ex. like KRU or SEN or MIBR)

I'm just like hella confused because I watched a video where Mada was saying NRG just have to make it to Top 3 because G2 are already invited to champs so maybe that is the case?

NRG have to make top 2 to qual, or hope SEN/G2 get top 2 and they get more points than everyone

Wait so is it possible for G2 to come in 5th or 6th+ and still not make it to Champions? Or they already have too many points to be part of Top4 and qual to Champs?

They are already confirmed for champs no matter their performance in stage 2
