my goal is to find a cheapest pc good enough to hit consistent 100+ fps in Valorant at 1280x720/1280x800 res.

What I have thought,

i7 4770-4790
2gb GDDR5 card
16gigs RAM
512gb SSD
24" Monitor 60hz

What would be fair price for these parts?

im on tight budget. 🥀

you should ask this from a local community because you are looking to go with used parts. they will have a better idea of what's available in the market so you can choose exact components that you can purchase for.

but yeah, make sure to grab a 16GB ram (8x2) and a 512 SSD for sure. I have no idea about that GPU tho. I had an RX570 during 2022 and it gave me like 110 fps on 1080p if I remember it correctly.

price depends on ur country. if u want 100fps it';d only be right to get a 100hz monitor. r/pcmasterrace can help but redditors are generally insufferable. that setup would be good. u can find good deals on used parts on ebay or ali express

consistent 100+fps feels a lil smoother on 60hz monitor, a saw a listing of a SFF Pc with i7 6700 with 256gb SSD and 8gb ddr4 for around 135$, is this a good deal?

Get an rx580/rx 570 for your gpu or if youre wanting to go nvidia, a old 1060 6gig or 1660 might also work out. 1660 will be a pretty penny tho id stick with either a 1060 6gb or a rx580. Anything less and youre literally making a val only rig which is unrealistic

Did a lil check and you can get a 1060 6gb in india for around 6K second hand. Look for second hand sales of this card and spend a little extra and clean it yourself and reapply some thermal pads

im not an expert with computers, but kinda pointless for you to make pc good enough to consistently hit 100+fps but only have 60hz monitor, no?

Even work pcs hit 60 fps in valorant at that point there is no reason to build a pc also game will run more smoothly at higher fps even if monitor is 60hz

it has less input delay. I have played on a low end pc capped at 80fps i felt an input delay.

Ive played on a pc that ran val at 30-40 fps (1% lows at 10) and i hit gold with it. Input delay does matter because the moment I did a big upgrade and bought a new laptop that hit 300+ fps, my rank jumped to dia

spend more on the cpu
valorant is a cpu based game, yes you need a gpu, it has to be decent enough a used 1060 or a 1650 super would do

STGAubron RX 560 is a good alternative

Got a Hand on Hp Workstation Z440

xeon e5-2680 v4
16gb Ram ddr4
256gb SSD
700watt PSU
Quadro K620

for 120$ . + will be adding a decent GPU later, i think it will be pretty solid build for 100+fps consistent.
