Honestly, with the current system for stage 2 its a joke for champs points as if u have a easy group since most the groups for most regions are fucked then its easy points so if u got lucky in both stage and had good group u can qual very easily to champs even if ur not 3rd or 4th best in the region based off playoff. I do think the getting 3+ and 4+ point for coming in 3rd and 4th place is good but idk if its going to be enough for teams that had harder group against 1st and 2nd best in region.

edit: also idc what anyone says kru are insta qual for champs cuz latam viewership if im proven wrong i will be very happy

I honestly think it's a great system. It rewards you for being consistent the whole year or atleast most of it. One change I would make is that for a team to auto qualify for Champs via Champs points, they have to at the minimum qualify for stage 2 playoffs. If they don't, their Champs points are null and void.

Yeah defenitly makes sense just think it has to much flaws but if fixed it can be a good system for next year

I mean most of the problems can be fixed if they just give us a full round robins for both split but apparantly Valorant players are "too burnt out" to play 2 games of Valorant a week.

Im praying next year riot is actually smart about the schedule and system and they dont spread things out so much cuz honestly it rather stupid and just fill that time up with the players yk playing. I dont think they should change meta before going into tournaments cuz then the team that was 1st seed isn't even the best person in their region necessarily they should change it after each masters imo.

agreed. thats why i like the 2023 format where its a full round robbin then the top 3 auto quals for both the 2nd masters + champs.
then obviously LCQ.. we need that back man
though the points for top 4 is also crucial, a team like MIBR could overtake SEN and qual from points if SEN choke and only get top 6

next year champions system should be like this in my opinion:
top 2 go to champ
best team in points system get the spot #3

last chance qualifier gets spot #4
( including tier 2 teams ....or at least teams which qualified for Ascension)
