Yoru question

I remember in 2023 and 2024, even after his rework, be was barely getting played on the pro level. It was so rare to see a Yoru pick that people basically dubbed him THE niche agent, cuz while he wasn't bad per se, he was pretty hard to master. Come 2025 and he's being picked by literally EVERY team, and I mean EVERY team. No team in VCT this year has not played Yoru. What happened?

tejo released -> yoru and tejo perfect synergy -> people realized yoru was pretty good

Back when skye had a million flashes you didn’t need an extra flash character but now that flashes are more rare yoru has more value

Ppl didn't really give him a fair shot before tejo. He was really hard to play to his max potential and other duelist were better than they are now. Back in 2019 sg553 became meta in CSGO despite being in the same state it was for the previous few years when it wasn't used at all. I think it's a similar situation. A combination of doubt and other stuff getting worse over time.

i think raze / jett those times were just "supposedly" better
also yoru right now is better to counter some agents like tejo or vyse

Jett and Raze got hard nerfed. I still think they should revert back the Raze satchels.
