obviously you're stuck in 2022
look i know our brain romanticizes our past where we were atleast competent
and it's hard for us to leave that bias
but PLEASE see reality
kinda difficult when 2024 sucked ass and 2025 have this really weird meta (although is promising from now on)
23 felt way more open and competitive
brazil has a tendency to romanticize past, you're not even understanding why it felt like competitive valorant
it's because skye made everyone good
you just don't know things and that's OKAY

eg? also did not use that much, champs winner
prx? used it more but still didnt overuse it, only win regionally (also kinda hard to tell because they changed their comps a lot)
loud was the one overusing it and they only won americas
even if we take the only other teams who won tournaments that year: TL barely used skye (still got out early on int), EDG used more but china wasn't even a region and they werent great internationally either
there was a meta but it was not dominant, literally all the winning teams were not using her that much at all
bias towards 2023 teams and players
the smart ones, first of all, understand that 2023 looked methodical and clean because skye had two flashes
like people just yap and don't have reasons
but it's true that skye made it easier to play
