it's unfortunate that before/at champs Kaplan refused to play the Yoru comps, I've heard the player say that Tenz was farming in scrims on Yoru but Kaplan didn't trust Tenz and/or the comps which ended up in the team not using them in officials
i think it's more a "who's gonna play smokes" rather than the yoru part, isn't tenz a perma omen during that run?
yeah so they might have a hard time integrating another omen that wasn't tenz
if they were to use Yoru it would have been on bind imo so wouldn't have been a problem
And if they were putting him on yoru on other maps in scrims it means someone else was playing smokes
im pretty sure they thought it wasnt ideal to use yoru at the time because kaplan repeatedly praised tenz's yoru being the best in the world
considering how cracked neon was at the time it's also very understandable that they didn't want to use it too
Surely he will just play smokes right? Wasn't that what skuba's role was? Or am I mistaken
