lol tenz would profit like fucking crazy on a basic 5 man roster in tier 2 if he watchparties them, and hell get more sponsorship money
say the kids make 2k a month, tenz can pull 10k a month just from watchpartying t2 + sponsors, and maybe get closer to 20k
plus the domino effect is that everyone would make more money if the biggest streamer was watching tier 2 instead of playing ranked
dont see the bankruptcy claim happening, orgs that go bankrupt are traditional orgs, not content or streamer orgs
I dont think being a Tenz’s org would make people be watching his watch-party that much more than streaming playing ranked that usually got him 10k viewers to even cover the player’s salaries
but yeah i can see it works with an interesting clout-full roster
#yeah maybe gonna make profit but lowk not worth the effort considering how easy he’s making money from his casual stream unless he wants to challenge new thing aside from competing Valorant
One fix for tier 2 and get more teams involved and increase the incentive for the teams participating can be, end of stage 2 challengers for all regions the top 3 teams from all regions have a tournament to get 2 spots in champs hence increasing the no of teams to 18 and this gives them added benefits based on their performance in champs towards ascension and promotion to tier 1. M80 like situation can also be avoided by having hard bound rules about which teams can be approached in the middle of the season, example all the academy teams should be the first teams to be approached as they cannot ascend and having academy players suceed would increase the reputation of the respective orgs they graduate from.
