On a Interview, he said something along the lines of "Riot is owned by American companies so it makes sense they give their teams more time to have more American winners". I think there's some truth and come straight COPE. It is true that Leo Faria is Brazillian therefore I don't think it's crazy to assume he might have some bias for brazil teams. BUT it is also true that CHINA owns 100% of RIOT GAMES (i think lol). You can make the argument that china and americas ended at the same time but you also have to consider that PACIFIC end only 7 DAYS after the other 2 so you can't really make the argument that Riot favors americas by looking at the fact that the end on the same day as china and they have 7 more days than pacific.

TORONTO
I think you are smoking if you think Riot favors Americas bc they hosted an event in NA. Yes this means that AMER teams have less to deal with when traveling and practicing but this would only ever be the THIRD instance of Americas teams having that luxury since VCT began (Brazil LOCK IN, CHAMPS LA and MASTERS Toronto) which is almost the same with PACIFIC so you can't say that RIOT favor americas when the have hosted as many events as PACIFIC and especially when EMEA has hosted around 7 international events

CONCLUSION
I think Chronicle's statements sound like straight cope BUT I don't think it's totally invalid for feeling that way. Instead of claiming that Riot wants more americas teams winning because they are owned by american businesses (which they're not). He should've said that Riot REALLY didn't favor EMEA for Toronto and the scheduling should really be put into question for why EMEA needed to get such a big disadvantage when CHINA, AMERICAS and Pacific 2-3 weeks more to prepare for Toronto.
