Hello Guys,
this is my first post on vlr and i wanna talk about tejo. God i love that they finally nerfed him.
His rockets are way too strong and boring and his drone is just extremely good in its niche.
I think the price changes are good. Like 300 for that stun too much and 300 for that drone is too cheap.
But what da hell did they do to his rockets. They needed to nerf it desperetly. But removing the recharge completely kills Tejo imo.
Double his recharge. Or let let each single rocket recharge by itself.
It is the same like they did with skye. She was too strong but thats not a reason too kill her.

They didnt buff skye either and her pickrate isnt just shit. Its non existent

i definitely do agree with the single rocket change, would make him more “balanced”

breach has this mechanic in the range/when infinite abilities where if you cast an aftershock, there's a small cooldown before you can do it again despite still having an aftershock available at hand. Perhaps other initiator utilities can be like that where you can buy two however you cant cast both at the same time. You have max 2 rockets per round regardless of how fast/slow you play but you cant use them at the same time.

yeah changes were excellent and nailed it for once... except the recharge. Don't know what that's doing in there. Hopefully it's just to force innovation for Toronto and he gets it back immediately afterwards like how Neon/Iso were deliberately overdone at first.

Imo they should at least try make dog sig and recharge

even if it's too strong, which i doubt, they're not opposed to breaking shit before tuning it to fit better so it's no excuse

I wonder if only 1 rocket but on a 20s cooldown like Vyse flash could be better.

It allows Tejo to check corners occasionally with the Salvo, but also makes post plant always one salvo, unless you have mega stall I guess. Could also be shorter duration and do more damage like Breach aftershock.

i honestly think just making him recharge one rocket each time w/ 40 sec cooldown wouldve made him still strong/useable but nerf him into line with other init, the nerfs they did just completely ruin him imo, riot cant nerf a strong charcter w/o running them into the dirt it seems

Give skye and tejo kill recharge instead of timer recharge and everything will be good

nah tejo has to pick between being extremely good on exec or insanely good on post plant not both he can still drone for exec but now he isn't just better at everything he has to decide one or the other like every other inti
he isn't dead now he has maps he is good on and maps he isn't good on for example on lotus C and B he has good single missile spots where he can clear or stop a peek and have a extra missile for post plant bind,sunset,fracture etc and he has good double mollies on every map basically

it also adds risk reward when he is competing for a spot against kayo,sova more explosive power less default value
