I just think maybe they'll replace jieni7 with someone, but for the champs, 4 teams will go. I just guess Edg will qualify easily with this same team, but what will they do on stage? Lol. Simon will play or not(if the edge coach gives him the opportunity). It's still a question mark.new player like last year. Who knows, everything is burning right now.

I dont think they will replace jieni unless there is an easy to pick up player somewhere that is guaranteed to be better

Another thing is that right now, EGD is playing without 2 ints; if meta doesn't change (I guess meta will change) for the champ, then they surely will go for 2nd int, and Jieni is not an int.

slowly maybe is the best choice for EDG, but only one big question is Tyloo wont let slowly leave, even it's a big money, they have to get more for their fans, valorant still is a new game in China, XLG's champion of stage win 50k follower on bilibili one day and the number still increase.

I am also thinking about vo0kashu (flex) or slowly (int), but the thing is that in China, buyouts are so crazy, and every team/org has sick conditions/terms. So if they want to change, they will go for a new player like what they did last year.

EDG main problem is just isnt't xlg. I'm 100% conf of nova shitting on edg with swerl or any perma duelist. EDG can't rely on academy player. Pick feng f if slowly isnt aval. He can shoot & flex. Or bring life back if fpx don't wanna continue wtih his bad form.

EVO is also a question mark I think only 2 teams will qualify and now Nova, DRG, wolves, fpx (luck) all are looking good .....

It's probably a mix of meta change and better competition in the region, maybe get slowly or a good aimer and roleswap them

I think the most likely scenario will be EDG running back this roster for stage 2 or replacing Jieni with another unknown academy talent. It would be awesome to see FengF or Slowly join EDG but that doesn't feel likely

The player-picking option is hard right now; maybe they'll swap roles after Tejo nerf, but there is still a question mark on jieni7. I watched his gameplay with no competitive mindset. Let's see what's happening in the China EVO series for EWC.
