DRX Head Coach Byun Seon-ho Says of Talon's Hector Rosario (aka “Frost”): “He Seems Like a Crazy F*er. I Wish He’d Just Go Back to the U.S.”**
On May 4, at the VCT Pacific Mid-Season Playoffs Lower Bracket Round 2 held at the Sangam SOOP Coliseum in Mapo-gu, Seoul, DRX secured a clean 2-0 victory over Talon.
Having previously lost a close match to Rex Regum Qeon and fallen to the lower bracket, DRX showcased superior skill against Talon to claim a solid win.
Tensions were high between the two teams even before the match began. Talon coach Hector Rosario (nickname “Frost”) refused to engage in the customary fist bump on stage. During the exchange, Rosario reportedly said something to Coach Byun, who responded with a visibly bewildered gesture.
After the match, during a media interview, Coach Byun criticized Frost, saying, “Coach Frost is disregarding the conduct guidelines taught by Riot Games and is not approaching matches appropriately.” He added, “He swore at me on stage using language with ‘M’ and ‘F’ in it.”
