G2 aren't the only ones using Tejo lmao

This entire narrative that G2 are getting carried by Tejo because he's busted is lowkey just weird cause all the good teams use him, it's not like only G2 are allowed to use the agent. The 67% pickrate isn't from the one team only lmao.

G2 are clearly just extremely util-focused. They use a Yoru over any other duelist cause he has 5 pieces of util (and a great ult) while all the other duelists have 4 pieces. Tejo has busted util so their mindset is 'no Tejo/Yoru = throw'. (i dont understand the ascent waylay but they won so ig its good)

And again, every team has used Tejo. G2 (and Trent in particular) just know how to use him best. They intentionally focus HARD on keeping the dude alive till the post plant or retake while everyone else throws themselves into duels cause they know Trent can clutch and Tejo makes it easier. There's a reason why he has the most clutch CHANCES in Stage 1. Second and third are eeiu and Verno, both also Tejo players. And the others at the top are also initiators cause their util matters the most in the late round. The play is to very much to cycle the rechargeable util again and again.

I highly doubt that G2 will be the ONLY ones to take a hit when the nerf comes through, Trent is just a great player and initiator even without Tejo.

Pretty sure it's because G2 are the only team that is using tejo purely for the post plant factor, I barely see them use the missiles for anything else besides getting a little extra free space at the beginning of rounds. So it makes them hella unentertaining to watch.

Ok what is stopping from other teams using it? Use it , u have been given an agent that has guided missile , the smartest thing u can do is play post plant with that missile, protect ur tejo player as if ur playing protect the president

I do agree with that, but as I said, that's because their focus is to play that post plant extremely well and win rounds no matter how 'cheesy' it is.
However, on rounds where they get forced into site and can't go back main or push CT? They do use the missiles to hold off the retake often. And I've also seen them use the missiles a fair bit in the midround if they default and go slow at first.

Nah, it aint. Check the stats. If the other Tejo players played the same amount of rounds that Trent has they would have a similar amount of clutch chances. Verno wouldve had more than trent, even.

I mean you can literally look at the vods, verno doesn't play back like trent does. Whenever bomb is planted he's 80% of the time pushing/playing with his team while trent is 95% of the time just playing post

map 2 lotus. At 7-6, he used rockets in the post plant to delay mibrs heaven flood and didnt have it for his 1v2 attempt. At 8-7, he did sit main with rockets. At 9-8, he used rockets in the post plant to take space c halls. At 9-10, he used rockets delay the flood while his team was planting then used his ult c halls to force verno out when he could have saved it for postplant. At 10-10, he used rockets in the post plant to stop cortezia from pushing (3v1 for g2 so it doesnt even matter anyways). At 11-10, chasing kill in the post plant bc it was a 4v1. At 12-10, used rockets to stop flood while he plants then he dies. At 13-12, he sits main with his ult and rockets in a 2v1.
TLDR: he sat main playing for his rockets a total of 2 times out of 8

Ok u know how people say g2 play slow? So u think they use tejo rockets in the beginning of the round then just save their rockets until bomb is close to exploding 3 mins later? Trent will never have his rockets up when the bomb is planted. He uses it multiple times in a round to take map control. It usually recharges in time late in the postplant so that it can be a wincon.

Are you stupid? If trent uses his missiles at the beginning of the round he will get them back by the time the post plant comes, it was literally stated by the casters/analysts during the SEN vs G2 game lmao.

I hope Tejo nerfs are not in Toronto because I don't wanna watch a masters event where almost all the teams are running new comps on all the maps. I wanna watch some good valorant.
G2, Sen, MiBR, these teams run Tejo on almost all the maps. Their map pool would be fucked for Toronto.

g2 will still be good without tejo, it’s just they’re currently not very enjoyable to watch because tejo’s all they run now
