Destroying metas

Astra, Chamber, skye, and now tejo. I know balancing is hard but whats the point of such drastic changes that'll dictate the meta like crazy? Teams most likely won't run tejo for awhile bc the changes drastically change the way the team will have to default. Don't get me wrong, I don't like the Tejo meta but this is basically killing the agent. Why not just try a longer cooldown as a small nerf and go from there??

They'll just buff him a little if he underperforms too much. I still think he's good tho

When an agent is as meta as Tejo is right now, a light nerf won't work.

You forget, they gave Chamber a small nerf before the big one and his pick rate didn't drop at all.

bc they didnt adress the issues the agent had

Thats exactly what they did with jett and chamber

ignore the main issue, nerf small things overtime realise that it doesn't change the agent enough and then finally nerf the thing that was overpowered

Legitimately i do not understand how literally the one time their batch of smaller changes would've actually done the job they fuck it up by jumping the gun and pulling the nuke forward a patch cycle removing the recharge for 0 reason when the other changes literally already weaken the recharge. It's unbelievable.

People are saying the changes are fine, but just like how the no cooldown killed skye, its gonna do the same to tejo

Don't get me wrong, I don't enjoy the Tejo meta. This is more about how riot handles changes, its overtuning or killing an agent, there seems to be no middle ground.
