Old Format vs Franchising

Do we miss the old format of teams needing to play constantly and brawl out to qualify for events? I miss watching orgs go against no names and making it much more competitive, more matches were being played regularly, and you could find talent a lot more easily. I remember when SEN got 0-2 by a random org I had never heard of and almost didn't qual for the season.

I think the new format is cool, but idk

franchisng is more consistent for the players, (getting paid and stability)
also franchise gives us more consistent content knowing the players etc etc (plus a higher quality of games, execpt for emea ofc)

tier 2 is literally in the dumpster because of franchising i wouldnt say its more stable for the players overall, theres like 5 real orgs investing in NA tier 2

Franchising would have been good if not for the god awful 1 match per week format

the fear of getting relegated for top teams + opportunities for some random team to go on a run yeah but most of all i just dont like how now, a team loses a few games and theyre out. there are barely any 3rd party tournaments that can help the team develop and grow yet riot expects these orgs to put out content and grow their fanbase, and how difficult that would be if you are not winning anything.
