bang's full name is sean bezerra (br dad) hence bangzerra. And players like tenz using zera is bcs of brazil usually. I think they use zera in br cause it sounds cool, doesnt mean anything special.

Its a suffix without meaning added to brazilian names. Its a common practice in a lot of latam countries to add meaningful suffixes (-ito en espanol, -inho en portuges) to names for the generation of nicknames. Saying something like gorda, for example, means literally "fat woman" but gordita can be an affectionate/teasing term for a shorter woman. Caunanzin, for example, has the first name Caunan, and adding the -in could reference the -inho suffix to say small cauan.

From what I understand, -zera was a thing before coldzera but I wouldn't be surprised if his legacy helped to cement the naming scheme.

I should add that many people are called their name + a suffix in nicknames. Alternatively, suffixes can modify standard nouns to make pet names as well (mi guapito -> my little handsome man/pretty boy)
