I don't really watch VCL religiously but here's my take:

Fennel
Recent successes, big commitment to VAL scene, good contents.
RIDDLE
Up and coming org, best team in JP as of right now, good clout, and (subjectively) great aesthetics
Reject/QT/NFX
Mid teams with okay ish following, Wild card choice
Crazy Racoon
Big org big clout with experience in VAL (they should just take over the whole DFM-CR partnership thingy)

DFM solely exist because of meiy and for meiy. If meiy leaves, DFM might leave franchised league after re-evaluation
