Val competitive > CS competitive

Val is way more competitive than cs. Here we don't have a team winning over and over again, theres always new teams/rosters being champions, which makes the competitive scene way more entertaining and unpredictable

yeah... thats because theres more randomness and the best team doesnt always win like in cs...

what does bangkok final have to do with this

He said val is random, so I wanna know what he thinks of team which just won recent masters

well its pretty clear that g2 is the best team in the world even tho t1 won masters lol, literally perfect example of why so little events with a randomness is bad for competitiveness

if g2 was really the better team at that moment they would have won lol

if t1 was as good as g2 they wouldnt lose to vitality, drx, edg, rrq and talon in a span of 2 months lol, recency bias is so strong this is also a good example of why we need more events

Better team on that day wins, that's how the game works.
Also you brought up more recent events than bangkok and said I have recency bias???? Do you know what recency bias is??
G2 the so called best team in the world is literally struggling vs LEV and C9. I'm not claiming that T1 in current form is world number 1, but ur jumping the gun in claiming that G2 is.

exactly and best team on a day can be whoever the fuck in this game,g2 was literally so good everyone was saying they will 100% win a trophy this year in kick off already,t1 was a mediocre team with potential who peaked at the right time, that doesnt mean they are objectively the best team considering the final could have gone either way too,ur entire opinion is quite literally based on 1 bo5 map 5 that g2 was leading 12-10 and chocked

so your saying that a team like 2G would have stood a stance against G2 in the finals because they are at their best on the day?, stop coping bro

Objectively, if you win you are the better team. The win-loss record doesn't lie. T1 isn't mediocre, they have world class players and they proved it at bangkok. You can argue that their form is more inconsistent than G2, sure, but T1 peak is higher than G2 peak so until G2 proves otherwise T1 is still better. Unless you are saying G2 barely winning vs LEV is better form than bangkok lol.

g2 shouldve won that if they were not glue2 but t1 came outta no where and won

bangkok finals are one of the best examples of randomness, the whole point is that the favorite teams (g2 and edg) didn't win while an underdog did.

Ngl val does have more randomness cause of abilities involved and skill ceiling is lower as well but again it's very fun to watch. This randomness and lower skill ceiling also increases the competition.

No I really enjoy watching CS because there's a lot less bullshit than in Valorant (thanks to broken abilities)

i feel like CS2 killed the vibe. CSGO was insane to watch. i'll never forget VP vs SK, map 5 on cobblestone at Epicenter 2017, that was the craziest match i’ve ever seen. and the major crowds in Rio, Paris... unforgettable...

meta always change + more unpredictable games + less tournaments throughtout the year, in cs theres like 15 tournaments in the year, in valorant, 3

Valorant is where failed CSGO players go to pretend they’re relevant.

I mean this is only a thing in 2025 because Vitality are incredible and the rest of the teams are at the end of a cycle but the scene back in the Shanghai major was unbelievable, incredibly competitive with so many rosters full of aura that could win the major and that had insane individuals/played great cs, new Falcons looks good and is gonna look even better with kyosuke and I think the scene will look much better once NaVi/Faze/g2 make roster changes and hopefully s1mple coming back once he gets out of contract jail will be cool
