after this NRG went on to lose the map and the series to a team with a streamer
just to remind you all going into 2023 NRG had- top 2 coach itw, top 2 igl itw, top 2 Initator itw, top 3 flex itw, top 3 chamber itw
they then proceded to get 0-2 by BLG twice at champs
NRG then cut fns/s0m and signed 2 world champs + top 2 smokes itw
NRG now had-former top 2 smoke itw, 2 world champs (best flex and best duelist itw), top 3 AME initator, great flex, great coach
despite the super team they played like shit causing them to get rid of Marved and Demon1
FNS and S0M come back in and for a moment you think they are back and will qual for playoffs and maybe champs-and then disaster strikes as they lose a 12-5 lead to C9 (who did not win a single game that stage)
They then get rid of Crashies Victor Chet and sign a top coach and the 2 best t2 prospects from NA
They dominate the offseason and looked primed to be top team itw
Then kickoff happens and they get destroyed
They cut Verno and bench Bonkar and sign Brawk and Mikes
and now their only win in stage 1 has been vs FUR

but i feel bad for FNS.

like dude had a career till the end of it and wants to stick around cuz he genuinely loves the game and isnt in it for the money. (he probably could be the top 1 val streamer hes actually funny and isnt like a robot cough) i mean its not like its wrong to clown on him for being shit but like this is his like little victory lap and we all be shitting on him.

To be honest I understand fns is great guy ( I think ) he's funny not trying to hard to entertain ( even ingame ) but I think it's high time for him to go retire , maybe and just maybe coach s0m and other guys to build a decent team actual for qualifying for an intnl

if u see that cortezia vs s0m,ethan clutch u can see that they know he was flank but still they give him 1v1 their comms are the main problem and FNS can't move on from 2022
