what does a cc even do, literal paycheck stealers. I thought esports orgs are getting bankrupt now how do they still have money to sign ccs
I've been thinking this as well. Even with a popular streamer like Tarik, the viewers are there for sen rather than him.
Meh, eyes on the team during matches (especially with the proportions Tarik brings in versus regular VCT streams) can drive bundle sales.
at least it's funny watching shanks crashing out on every eg/nrg match, idk about prod
I think it's an investment
like, you sign CC ---> their fanbase becomes fans of the org ---> buy merch etc ---> even when CC is gone some people are still fans
but surely it's not that effective
i feel like lev curry is decent tho? he is skilled enough be a backup in case of an emergency.
