Masters vs Champs

Somebody please tell me why fans hold Champs in higher regard than Masters? Because isn't the quality of teams the same?

more exciting and important

Bigger format, more teams, better teams since it's the end of the year, more significance, more money

larger tournament, the most amount of effort (champs skins, songs, and other events held during champs), over double the prize pool of the largest masters events and held in the largest cities in the world. tldr champs is the most hyped, competitive and has the largest prize pool of the year.

Somebody please tell me why fans hold Worlds in higher regard than MSI? Because isn't the quality of teams the same?
