Would FPX be the best team of all time, had they attended Masters Reykjavik(and won)?
Would FPX be the best team of all time, had they attended Masters Reykjavik(and won)?
I think tbh they would arguably be the best team of all time, its at the point in valorant where its not too early; they beat optic, prx and all of the good teams as well.
it goes back to the age old question
what is lock in worth relative to a masters
hmm, well I agree (I'm biased though) and I'd say fnatic still
if for some reason LOCK//IN was objectively less valuable than a Masters then I'd say an FPX who'd win Masters 1 would be better
I saw you say LOUD 2022 in another comment, but honestly them falling short in Masters 2 is sorta a dealbreaker (Pretty much why I wouldn't consider GENG in 2024)
even with the lockin trophy, FPX had better peak and all of 5 players were well.. not just detriments to their team. sorry but ange1>boaster

dats crazy i don't even know what to say
ange1>boaster
this one I feel like goes to Boaster just barely
both weren't renowned for fragging, but both called at the highest level. But imo the 2023 meta was much harder to call in
lock in is not a master, lock in is obviously worth less than a masters. if you think otherwise you're retarded
would PRX be the best team of all time if they won reykjavik, beat FPX at copenhagen, and won champs 2022?
they attened all of those and lost fairly, FPX weren't allowed to attend reykjavik
just because a team wins one event doesn't mean that they should logically win the prior events in the year, so these hypotheticals really mean nothing. Of course if a team wins more than 1 event they're going to be one of the best of all time, but even if they won Reykjavik, there's no guarantee that they go on to win Copenhagen anymore, because we're just throwing around baseless claims at that point.
"had they attended Masters Reykjavik(and won)?", they won masters Copenhagen lol, they were the literal favorites to win reykjavik!
but we literally saw what happens once they won an event
they won Copenhagen and showed the world the peak of their play --> proceed to lose to DRX twice at champs (in really close games) because of a prep dif
if they won Reykjavik what's to stop the same thing from happening to them at Copenhagen, i just don't really see your point here
No. Their downfall as navi means they simply could not have been best oat. We need a top tier team consistent for 2 whole years to beat fnatics streak now.
