So sad see SEA GC scene is fell off, back then they have RRQ, fullsense, orangutan, global esport, SMG, alter ego, and now most of GC playing with orgless even best SEA team (ex SMG now xipto) not finding any org to pick them up

afaik most teams are not ready to play for very low salary and demand high t2 salary for GC which is not sustainable along with providing bootcamp food etc
OG particularly struggled with this stuff so they pulled out of GC
demands from player are on level of challengers but , the output they provide to an org is nowhere near half .Players want more when the value they provide is low . So I guess this situation is inevitable .
no Viewership = no Money
they should give east Asia more slot tbh, they have a lot of viewership, sponsor, a lot Tier 1 Orgs, in Esport Money & sustainability is more important, skill will come later by time…SEA player also can be recruite by KR/JP teams like DRX did. win-win solutions for Pacific GC
