i always thought igl was as much of a scam as coach but saadhak and fns changed my mind. plus furia with mwzera never got anything despite having gunpower, so is the igl truly the most important role in tac fps?

I'm sorry, but I find it a bit funny that a Brazilian flagger asking this question. 🤣😭
I said winning and you said Top 3 placement. Theres a reason you said Top 3 and not First place its because there isnt an igl, listen, all the firepower is there, they need an IGL who can call and fix the team structure (not in the sense like fixing a broken team as in fix like glue)
Yes, look at JDG for example. They lost their IGL yoman due to import rules, but kept the same roster and added one more. Used to be #2 in China, but losing their IGL they havent performed well at all.
Teamplay and team chemistry is more important. IGL isn't the most important. Also mid-rounding is also as important as IGL'ing, but team chemistry and performance, vibes, communication is definitely the utmost importance for a team to solidify their success.
yes igl is incredibly important
teams w/o a great igl share the role tho it isn't just one person always
5 talented individuals may not make a team, if that makes sense.
Dumb analogy, but you can have all the ingredients but you need a chef/recipe
did i just make a let him cook joke accidentally
Depends on your team's playstyle. If your playbook is made up of set plays or protocols then having an IGL is really useful to keep track of them and being a decisive voice on which ones to use or whether to use them at all
PRX still has that but there's something about the way they play that doesn't necessarily require an IGL but I honestly can't pinpoint what it is
