No, you are just lagging behind. The content you see on these social media apps about your friends is getting progressively less and less and you get bombarded with ads or some shity hippie style overpriced soap maker fb pages who was created probably by some mom on maternity leave who has nothing to do all day. And even your hundreds of "friends" are just becoming faceless pieces of meat with no personality where all the photos are something like "hey thats me" and sometimes "hey, thats me in this place". There is nothing social about social media anymore.
