Why did tesseract downgrade team?

He had better exposure and opportunity to get scouted back in SA than his current PH team no? Hurts to see his team play this bad smh

because the competition in sa is garbage compared to ph (even tho ph isnt the best region itself) making it hard to judge if he is actually any good

also naos was top 4 ascension how is that a downgrade

SA viewership and sponsors are far superior than in PH. If he wants to get to t1, dominating sponsor-heavy and viewership heavy scenes like SA or JP will be his best bet (considering TS isn't really focused on having the best PH representatives in T1 stage). He was creating a name for himself in SA for the past year.
