Well it was all looking good then some bloke put it into a wall and shit happened.
Then after that Merc beefed the new regulations and redbull aced them so there car isn't really competitive for a win right now.
Hamilton led, Latifi put it in the wall, SC, one lap shootout for glory, Verstappen won, regs change, RB good car, Mercedes not so good car, rest is history.
Havent watched a full F1 season for 3 years now(thanks to Sky buying all the rights, so that i need to subscribe for 30 or whatever euros per month which isnt affordable for the average person), so i dont know exactly how the race unfolded

Yeah the costs to watch it now are stupid in Aus the cheapest way to watch formula 1 is purchase a digital membership for an AFL (footy) team.
100%, in GER we have to buy it in a big pack with other sports aswell. For 20 eur initially, but goes up to abt 30 p/month after a year. You need to spend more than 300 euros per year to watch a series that was televised for free just 3 years ago. IMSA can be streamed from their own website for FREE, the same goes for WEC(shoutout to IMSA btw, they got a great broadcasting team with Radio Le Mans). And Le Mans itself can be watched for free on TV(not completely on Eurosport, you have to buy a subscription to the player, but at least a part, with the start and final hours to the finish on the main broadcast) aswell.
Not everybody has 300 quid left on the table after the bills that they dont need, not everyone can afford a pay tv subscription. RTL wasnt the best, but it atleast gave us the opportunity to watch our favourite sport w/o having to be a millionare.
Team strategy got screwed by race director not following normal procedure (decided against pitstop to change tires because race was supposed to end under safety car, which would have admittedly been very anticlimactic for such a season)
If you ever feel like you wanna watch F1 just watch that season on repeat. Do not watch anything before or after

Im a Red Bull fan, been one since Danny Ric was there.
But even as a Red Bull fan, Mercedes and Lewis actually got robbed. Should've been their race, if Race Director stuck to the proper rulings and regulations they win 2021.
