title
it'll likely work like the csgo system
team 1 ban
team 2 ban
team 1 pick
team 2 pick
team 1 ban
team 2 ban
decider map is left
7 maps is the perfect number of maps for a pick ban system so it'll be interesting to see if they have all 8 maps in the map pool for pro Valorant when they release the next map or if they will remove a map from the pro map pool.
There is alot of terrible maps i hope competitive map pool can change later, TBH fracture is allready better then most maps
After they fix any bugs or whatever on Fracture, I really hope they focus on fixing the existing maps more than working on a new map. On Icebox, they need to add some things to B site so that attackers can actually play post plants on the site instead of backing up to yellow and main every round and on Split idk what they can do but they should also make some changes to make it more attacker favored. However, I Ascent and Haven definitely don't need to be changed and Breeze and Bind don't really either. In fact, Bind is one of the most interesting maps to watch since so many pro teams play so many different comps(like ForZe running Yoru, VS running jett, raze, breach and skye and so on). However, Breeze can get really frustrating since you really need a viper to win rounds on attack but idk how they could fix that.
I play viper in Breeze and i allways bottom frag :D
Ascent, Bind and Haven is fine just you said but Haven can be realy frustrating to because whole game litterly all about timing.
I think split and icebox is allways gona be problematic maps
The title is will fracture play in LCQ. But fracture (also known as fnatix) already qualififed for champignons
maps are added to the competitive pool 28 days after they were added to the game. Since fracture was added to the game on September 8th, it will be added to the competitive map pool on October 6th, almost a week before LCQ starts.
timeline wise it makes sense but pros have been complaining that they dont have enough time to prep so riot will probably change it
