??? Sorry but this is just wrong. I only started reading one piece last week and I have to say I've never had more fun reading a manga than I have had reading one piece.
never read/watched it but is the anime better than the manga or the other way round
I can't stand the voice actor for luffy in the anime so I just started reading the coloured version and it's really good. Also it takes too long to watch it so I would rather read.
manga pace is way better but anime has soundtracks and voice actors that can bring more emotion to the scenes

Manga has more detail.. you can't compare a 8 episode series to 46 chapters of manga obviously but this live action is so much better when compared to other animes live action series
Manga. Issue with the anime is that because they want it running year long, it runs at snail speed to not pass the manga. I stopped watching at close to 900 episodes but there was literally 4-5mins of recap every episode iirc. Gonna eventually return and read the manga when it's closer to completion since the story is genuinely pretty good/entertaining. (i dont regret watching the anime btw. But yea, definitely too much of a time investment if you only just now intend to get into one piece)
