Overconfidence was the death of them. They can come back next year tho, take this as a wake up call and they could be back up top. They have the individual talent for it.
Tokyo Fnatic is #1 for sure they only lost one map which was fracture to eg lol, every other map they were the best at
They're dogshit at Pearl, they've said this many times themselves lmao.
Their map pool was pretty weak in Tokyo (shit Lotus and Bind) but they've managed to fix those maps for champs in no time basically so GG's to them honestly and they changed their Split and Pearl comp as well!
fnatic also not using any new comps, literally just the standard stuff on all maps

just joking but honestly, I expected more from Fnatic. They managed to get manhandled at least once on Split, Lotus, Bind, and Haven and did not even try to learn Pearl, their map pool was surprisingly weak.
My best guess for not playing pearl is that emea in general didnt like much pearl, so they failed to get quality practice on it. Or maybe they just saw they had to move in harbor viper when it was meta and hated the idea of it
NAVI was looking like the best Pearl team while playing comps that fit Fnatic perfectly

FNC, TL and NAVI were just aim-diffing teams in EMEA league lets be honest. They just got exposed hard.
